The MC have talked about this incident in an interview. He had fell down the hole and landed on top of Jungkook. We can see how the MC fell down. But we can't see what happened in that hole. The MC had said he probably would've died if Jungkook hadn’t softened the fall for him. It can be seen in fancams that JK had badly hurt his shoulder and hand bcz of that and still performed. At one point in the performance, he couldn’t even move his hand bcz of pain. The MC sounded beyond grateful to JK in the interview. So, yes. Jungkook saved his life. Some people are questioning how JK saved him.The MC himself talked about it and he's grateful to JK.
